- 3 / 5By Charlie HardenOn arrival, reception staff very friendly and we felt looked after. Our room was lovely - decorated beautifully with a large bathroom. Unfortunately, the room itself is very warm - even if you turn the radiator off. The hotel is on a very busy street, so if you have a window own - is sadly very noisy. This led to two nights of broken sleep which is such a shame because in every other aspect, the hotel is great. The reason for our stay was to celebrate my birthday - so in our room they had left a card wishing me happy birthday and offering complimentary breakfast in bed the next morning. We ate in the hotel restaurant for one of the nights we stayed - and I cannot fault it. The service and food were both fabulous, and at a very reasonable price (3 courses, pre dinner drink each and a bottle of wine for £100). It's just such a shame that my stay has been clouded by 2 nights of rotten sleep as everything else had been great.September 08, 2016
